Posted by Inga Cheng on

Have you ever bought clothes that they shrunk after couple of washes?  What about color transfer or colorfastness?  How does quality and durability concern you?

How does Valerie Vergar control its product quality?

At Valerie Vergar, product quality and safety is our priority. All the in-house designed products under our brand would be carefully inspected to ensure each product meets our company quality assurance protocol. QC inspection includes the following:

- Color shading
- Colorfastness check (Rub test)
- Symmetry check
- Size fitting test
- Adhesive check (logos, printings, markings fastness)
- Fabric weight test (for knitted garments)
- Fasteners fatigue and zip quality test
- Waterproof test
- Down feather leakage testing (For down garment)
- Seam slippage test (for woven garments)
- Care labeling
- Needle damage check (for knitted garment)
- Flammability test (for 100% cotton garment)
- Mold contamination prevention
- Metal contamination prevention
- Ventilation test
- Compliances to U.S ASTM (eg: Women's sport wear ASTM D4156)

Purchasing Valerie Vergar branded products would provide peace of mind concerning product quality and durability.  We designed apparel that would last for years not a season.

Below are our in-house designed products that our QC woud inspect against the above criteria before they are being packaged and send to our warehouse.
